Frequently asked questions
Why are the voices different on my phone and computer?
Voices come from your operating system and browser. Windows, macOS, Android and iOS each include different voices and languages.
Can I download the speech as an MP3?
Browsers only allow speech to be played aloud, not saved. To keep a recording, you would need a server-based voice service.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. HushConverts converts everything with code that runs in your browser, so your text and files stay on your device. You can even use most tools offline once the page has loaded.
